Symposium on ‘’ Pastoral practice and religious education in Archbishopric’’
With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Pavle of
Serbia, on Thursday, December 11, 2008 His Eminence
Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral served , with the
concelebration of His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, Holy Hierarchal Liturgy
in the chapel of Saint John The Theologian at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology
of the University of Belgrade
After the Holy Liturgy in the amphitheatre of the Faculty
of Orthodox Theology a symposium of the priesthood of the Archbishopric
Belgrade-Karlovac was held which theme was on "Pastoral practice and religious
education in the Archbishopric''. Metropolitan Amfilohije opened the symposium
and blessed its work, and after that Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno held an apposite lecture on this subject. A next lecture was held by archpriest-staurophor
dr Dragomir Sanda and was followed by very intense discussion of the
participants of the symposium on current issues in the pastoral mission and the
orthodox religious education.
On behalf of the Dean of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology
of the University of Belgrade, His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa protopresbyter
dr Vladan Perisic, the Vice Dean of tuition, greeted noble archpriests,
priests and guests.
