When the past speaks: Jasenovac, 80 years later

On Wednesday, August 25, 2021,in the amphitheater of the National Library of Serbia organized by the Museum of Genocide Victims and the Association of Jasenovac Detainees, a meeting was organized with the survivors of the most monstrous camp, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Independence State of Croatia concentration camp. 

The event was opened by historian Dejan Ristic and acting Director of the Museum of Genocide Victims, historian Dr. Dragan Cvetkovic, museum advisor at the Museum of Genocide Victims; and the surviving detainees of the Jasenovac death camp system, Mrs. Gordana Radojcic and Messrs. Slavko Milovanovic and Milinko Cekic, spoke about their memories of the death camp and the suffering they went through.
