Church Music Workshop for High School and College Students

From Sunday, December 18 through Wednesday, December 21, we'll be offering high school and college students an opportunity to spend four days on our campus, learning and directing liturgical music and meeting and worshipping with young men and women from across North America. We'll also offer a trip to New York City to ice skate on the famous rinks of the Big Apple, and we'll form a chorus to sing Christmas Carols in our local neighborhood.

25. October 2011 - 10:27The academic choir Collegium musicum, led by the conducter Darinka Matic Marovic, within Bemus, held a concert on Kolarac. During 40 years of the existence, the choir held premiers of more than 200 compositions.
Within the marking of the 40th anniversary of the existence, the academic choir Collegium musicum last night, within 43rd Bemus, held a concert in the hall of Kolarac endownment.
The conducter Darinka Matic, these days practiced with the choir like on the first day, when the creation of the institution Collegium musicum began.
Cappella Romana to Sing Great Vespers and Divine Liturgy in Seminary Chapel
18. October 2011 - 12:31The famed vocal chamber ensemble Cappella Romana will sing the responses during Great Vespers and Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Archangels in our Three Hierarchs Chapel. We warmly welcome our friends and neighbors to celebrate with us and to hear the solemn beauty of this choral group, which travels throughout the world. Great Vespers will be celebrated at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 7; Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8.
Festival of Religious Music in Moscow

October 2011 - 10:09The Festival of Religious Music will begin at the Moscow Church of the “Joy to All the Afflicted” icon of the Mother of God on 14 October, the feast day of the Intercession of the Mother of God. The opening is timed to coincide with the feast that enjoys a special esteem in Russia and with the commemoration day of St. Romanos the Melodus, a patron of singers and of the art of religious music.
Church Choir Branko of Nis in The Patriarchate of Jerusalem
14. October 2011 - 10:04On Saturday, September 25th / October 8th 2011, two large groups of pilgrims from Serbia one with eighty members and another with forty members constituting the Church Choir Branko of Nis in Serbia and a forty-member group from Thessaloniki visited the Patriarchate.
SSS Branko Radichevich to participate in SSF Choir Festival at Steubenville, OH
15. June 2011 - 12:37Our Cathedral choir, the Serbian Singing Society Branko Radichevich is travelling to Steubenville, OH and Weirton, WV over the upcoming Memorial Day weekend.
The annual Choral festival of the Serbian Singing Federation of America, US and Canada, has been traditionally held over Memorial Day weekend for the past 80 years.
