The first church of modern Turkey to be built in Istanbul

The Catholicos stated that the historic event paved way for Malankara Nazranis to uphold their Thomasian (St. Thomas the Apostle of Christ) heritage. The Primate of the Church of Malankara (Orthodox Syrian Church of the East) was speaking at the 366th anniversary of the Oath of the at the Leaning Cross (at the Mattancherry St. George Orthodox Church, held on 3rd January 2019).
