3 Churches Destroyed in 1 Month Amid Rampant Christian Persecution in Sudan
26. November 2015 - 14:59Christians in the predominantly Muslim country of Sudan continue to suffer intense persecution, with the government engaging in a systematic destruction of churches, a conservative law group has warned.
The American Center for Law and Justice said Tuesday that its contacts on the ground in Sudan have affirmed that government officials continue to order the destruction of Christian churches, further marginalizing the minority Christian population.
ISIS Release 10 Assyrian Hostages in Syria
26. November 2015 - 10:22ISIS today released 10 Assyrians that it captured on February 23 when it attacked the 35 Assyrian villages on the Khabur river in the Hasaka province. ISIS captured 253 in the initial attack and drove 3,000 Assyrians from their villages. Most have not returned.
Five of the ten Assyrians who were released are women.
Queen calls for unity at Church of England general synod

She said the previous synod would be remembered for approving legislation to enable women to be bishops - a move which had long been disputed by many traditionalists.
Moscow Court Bans Church of Scientology
24. November 2015 - 14:34A court in Moscow has banned the local branch of the Church of Scientology, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported from the courtroom Monday.
During the inspection the Russian Ministry of Justice found out that the word ‘scientology’ had been registered as a trade mark owned by the US Religious Technology Center.

They spent two days candidly and honestly speaking about their faiths, in a dialogue between Shia Muslims from the Islamic Republic of Iran associated with the Centre for Interreligious Dialogue (CID) and Christians involved in the World Council of Churches (WCC).
