Patriarch Irinej serves in the Russian church of St. Trinity in Belgrade


On Sunday, January 30, 2010, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served the Divine Liturgy in a church of the Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church in Belgrade on the occasion of the feast day of Venerable Anthony the Great, with the concelebration of Belgrade priesthood, hieromonks from Hilandar and the head of the Representation protopresbyter Vitaly Tarasjhev. The Divine Liturgy was attended by His Excellency Alexander V. Konuzin, the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade.

Cadets of Serbian Army meet Serbian Patriarch Irinej

According to the Cooperation Agreement of the Committee for religious education of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovac and the Military Academy, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch hosted on Friday, on January 28, 2011, a reception at the Serbian Patriarchate for the officers and cadets of the Military Academy.

The Divine Liturgy in the St. Sava Memorial Cathedral, which was served by His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, besides lots of faithful people also was attended by pupils of the primary school of St. Sava from Vrachar.

The First Christmas Festival of Religious Music held with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia ended in Moscow on 23 January 2011. The last concert was performed at the Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow International House of Music.
