Feast day of the Dormition of the Holy Mother of God in Vienna

On the feast day of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God, His Grace Bishop Andrej of Austria-Switzerland served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Cathedral church of Saint Sava in Vienna.
The Bishop was concelebrated by presbyters Miljan Antic and Djordje Pantelic, parish priests of the Cathedral church.

On August 22, 2019, with a blessing of His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, a group of Bishops and clergy of the Serbian Patriarchate made a pilgrimage to shrines in the Russian North.
The group included Bishop Irinej of Bac; Bishop Anthony of Moravici, rector of the Moscow representation of the Serbian Orthodox Church; Bishop Isihije of Mohacs, vicar of the Diocese of Bac; and Archpriest Vladan Simic, secretary of the Diocese of Bac. The guests were accompanied by Yu. Khoshev, secretariat for inter-Orthodox relations, Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations (DECR). The guests from Serbia were in Pskov on 26th and 27th of August, where they visited the shrines of the Cathedral church of Holy Trinity and saw historical sightseeings of the city. Also, the visited the monastery of the Transfiguration of the Lord and visited churches and historical places in the town of Izborsk.

On the day when the Church celebrates Saint Rafailo of Banat, 29 August 2019, on the occasion of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God - church slava of the Podmaine Monastery and the nameday of the abbot of this holy monastery Rafailo (Boljevic), His Eminence Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral Amfilohije served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in this holy place near Budva.
Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God - Patron Saint-day of the town of Pancevo

This year citizens of Pancevo celebrated solemnly the Patron Saint-day (slava) of the church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God with the Holy Liturgy, a procession through the city and for the first time, breaking the slava cake in the Town Hall.
With the effort of the clergy of the Holy Dormition church the town authorities accepted that from this year the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God is celebrated as the town slava.

The church of Holy Trinity in the town of Resistencia, which construction was began by the youngest diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Diocese of Buenos Aires and South-Central America, upon the blessing of then Administrator of the Diocese Metropolitan Amfilohije, has been getting its shape.
The church is being constructed on the land which was donated to the Serbian Orthodox Church by the Ministry of Education of the Province of Chaco upon the proposal of Mayor of Resistencia Mr. Jorje (Djordje) Kapitanic.

The great feast day of the Orthodox Church when the Dormition of the Most Holy MOther of God is marked, was solemnly celebrated in the Diocese of Nis. The most solemn celebration was in Pirot where Bishop Arsenije of Nis served the feast day' Vigil, and the next day, on the occasion of the city patron's day, also the Holy Liturgy in Pirot was celebrated.
