Serbian church delegation arrives in Moscow

The head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, arrived on July 16th, 2013 for an irenic visit to the Russian Orthodox Church.

Serbian Patriarch Irinej left with the Moscow-bound flight the Belgrade Airport „Nikola Tesla“ yesterday afternoon.

The delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church that accompanies the Archbishop of Pec, Metropolitan of Belgrade-Karlovac and Serbian Patriarch consists of: His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije (Radovic) of Montenegro and the Littoral, as well as Their Graces Bishops: Irinej (Bulovic) of Backa, Longin (Krco) of New Gracanica-Midwestern America, Teodosije (Sibalic) of Raska-Prizren and Kosovo-Metohija, then dean of the Representation (Podvorje) of the Moscow Patriarchate in Belgrade archpriest Vitaly Tarasyev, arhimandrite Arsenije (Glavcic), protopresbyter-stavrophor Dr. Radomir Popovic, principal of the Cetinje Seminary protopresbyter-stavrophor Gojko Perovic, as well as protodeacon Radomir Percevic and deacon Aleksandar Sekulic. The member of the delegation is also Professor Vojislav Milovanovic, chief civil engineer of the Memorial Cathedral of Saint Sava.

On the feast-day of Holy Unmercenary Healers Cosmas and Damian, the 14th July, His Grace Bishop Jovan of Ulpiana, Vicar Bishops to the Serbian Patriarch, celebrated the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy at the chapel of the Clinical Center of Serbia in Belgrade.

The rite of enthronement of Bishop Hrizostom of Zvornik-Tuzla was performed at Cathedral church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos in Tuzla on Sunday, July 14^th 2013

Their Graces Bishops Hrizostom of Zvornik-Tuzla, Longin of Midwestern America, Pahomije of Vranje, Teodosije of Raska-Prizren and retired Konstantin of  Middle Europe celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy.

The head of our local Church, enthroned  the newly elected bishop by giving him pastoral staff in the attendance of seventeen bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church at the Cathedral church of the Nativity of Theotokos in Bijeljina on Saturday, 13 July 2013.

High Order to Serbian Patriarch Irinej

At the ceremony in the memory of Nikola Tesla, the great Serbian scientist and innovator,  the Serbian Royal Association of Academics Innovators and Scientists awarded yesterday, on 10 July 2013, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, with the Order of the Knight of Nikola Tesla. Their Graces Bishops Lavrentije of Sabac and protopresbyter-staurophor Stojadin Pavlovic, director of the Patriarchal Administration office, were present too.
