State funeral of King Peter II, Queen Alexandra, Queen Maria and Prince Andrej
22. May 2013 - 14:25The State funeral of Their Majesties King Peter II, Queen Alexandra, Queen Maria and His Royal Highness Prince Andrej is going to take place at Royal Mausoleum of St. George’s Church in Oplenac near Topola, on Sunday, May 26.
On Friday, 24 May 2013, from 9 am to 10 am the Liturgy will be officiated at the Chapel of St. Andrew the First Called at the Royal Compound in Dedinje. 10 am to 10.15 am the Requiem, then motorcade starts from the Royal Compound. On 10.30 am, remains of Their Majesties and His Royal Highness arrive to the Cathedral Church of St. Michael the Archangel (“Saborna Crkva”) in downtown Belgrade. 10.30 am to 10.45 am the Requiem. From 11 am on – citizens paying respect.
Serbian Patriarch Irinej in Soko Grad
22. May 2013 - 10:08His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch arrived in the monastery of Soko Grad on Saturday afternoon, 18 May 2013. In the church of Saint Nicholas a doxology was celebrated, and at 6 pm a vigil service was held with the participation of priests and monks of Ljubovija town. Following the service, the concert was held on the occasion of the great celebration of 20 years of the monastery of Soko, foundation of Bishop Lavrentije.

Emperor Constantine’s Edict of Milan: 1700 years later
On Friday, May 17, 2013, the Ecumenical Patriarchate honored the 1700th anniversary of Emperor Constantine the Great's "Edict of Milan" by hosting an international and interfaith one-day seminar in collaboration with the Council of European Episcopal Churches at the Conrad Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. The seminar -- which was held only days before the Orthodox Feast of Saints Constantine and [his mother] Helen as well as in the city founded by and named after Constantine the Emperor -- was generously sponsored by the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in America. The joint moderators were Metropolitan Emmanuel of France (Ecumenical Patriarchate) and Péter Cardinal Erdö (CCEE).

Opening of the Treasury of the Church-school congregation of Zadar is the evidence that mutual work and love for beauty and goodness win in the end. This Treasury existed since 1984 and it was opened until recent tragic war in the 1990s, when due to its protection from war destructions it had to be closed and removed.
Exhibition on Constantine in Viminacium
18. May 2013 - 14:30President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic opens the exhibition of the National Museum “Constantine the Great and the Edict of Milan”. 128 artifacts are presented, among which there is the famous portrait of Constantine, a bronze bust discovered in 1900.
Tomislav Nikolic, President of Serbia, opened an exhibition of the National Museum “Constantine the Great and Edict of Milan 313. - The birth of Christianity in the Roman Provinces on the territory of Serbia” at the archeological site Viminacium.
The exhibition of the National Museum presents an outstanding collection of authentic items from ten museums in Serbia which testify about the rule of Constantine, the Edict of Milan, beginnings of Christianity on the territory of Serbia.
