Patriarch Irinej serves the Liturgy in Ruzica church

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served on February 15, on the feast day of the Meeting of the Lord (Sretenje) the Divine Liturgy in Ruzica church on Kalimegdan. He was concelebrated by many priests and deacons, and the choir of this holy church chanted.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch accompanied by vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno attended the central ceremony regarding the Statehood Day, which was held at the House of the National Assembly in Belgrade on February 15, 2012. On this occasion President of the Republic of Serbia Boris Tadic handed to prominent individuals and institutions for for outstanding achievements in the field of sports, culture, security, medicine and science.
Dr Dragutin Trickovic receives Order of Saint Sava of the Third degree

The Holy Holy Hierarchal Liturgy of the Serbian Orthodox Church gave primarius Dr Dragutin Trickovic, director of the Dr Vukan Čupić Mother and Child Health Care Institute of Serbia in New Belgrade, with the highest distinction of the Serbian Orthodox Church - Order of Saint Sava of the Third Degree, for active love for the Holy Mother Church and persistent testimony of Resurrected Christ. On the feast day of Sretenje Dr Trickovic was awarded with this order by His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, vicar of His Holiness, on the behalf and with the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch.
Metropolitan Amfilohije receives the honorary doctorate of of the Saint Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute in Paris

At the solemn session of the Saint Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute in Paris yesterday the honorary doctorate „honoris causa“ was handed to Metropolitan Dr Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral. Besides Archbishop Gabriel of Koman, the ceremony was attended also by Ambassadors of Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia in France Irena Radovic and Dusan Batakovic. Metropolitan Amfilohije held a lecture: "Church - source of identity of man and world - World is made to become Church".

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served on Sunday, February 12, 2012, on the feast of the Synaxis of Holy Three Hierarchs. the Divine Liturgy in Belgrade's church of Saint Mark. Three Hierarchs is guild's slava of the Belgrade's craftsmen-metalworkers, which according to tradition, from the time before World War II, has been bringing to the church of St. Mark their guild's slava cake. The slava of the guild they have been celebratin without interruption, even during the communist era.
