Ambassador of Israel visits Patriarch of Serbia

Today at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade, His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia has received his first official visit from His Excellency Arthur Koll, Israeli Ambassador in Belgrade. The reception was attended by His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral and His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno.

Today at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade, His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia has received his first official visit from a delegation from the Embassy of the United States, headed by H.E. Mary Burce Warlick, U.S. Ambassador to Belgrade. His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral Gand His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno attended the reception.

Patriarch Irinej of Serbia and Ambassador of Spain to Serbia

His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia has received today his first official visit from His Excellency Iñigo de Palacio, the Ambassador of Spain in Belgrade at the Serbian Patriarchate. The reception was attended by His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohie of Montenegro and the Littoral  and His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno.

Today at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade, His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia has received his first official visit from His Excellency Dr. Clemens Koja, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria in Serbia. The reception was attended by His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno.

Patriarch Irinej of Serbia serves the Holy Liturgy at St. Aleksandar Nevsky church

His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia served on February 11, 2010 the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the church of St. Aleksandar Nevsky in Belgrade. His Holiness Patriarch served with the concelebration of deacons and priests of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac.  Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, serving priests and all the gathered prayerfully celebrated Holy Three Hierarchs - Basil the Great, John Chrysostom and Gregory the Theologian.

Patriarch Irinej of Serbia receives ambassadors of Germany, France and Great Britain

Today at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade, His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia accompanied by His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa, the member of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and His Grace vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno received in separate meetings, Their Excellencies the ambassadors of: Germany - Mr. Wolfram Mass, France - Mr. Jean-François Terral and Great Britain - Mr. Stephen Wordsworth.

This has been the first meeting of the ambassadors of Germany, France and Great Britain and Patriarch Irinej of Serbia since his accession to the throne of First Hierarchs of Serbia. All three ambassadors congratulated Patriarch of Serbia on election, and he thanked them with warm words for the visit.
