In Niksic, Montenegro, a great church-people's assembly was held on Saturday, 21 December 2019, when thousands of the faithful gathered around the relics of Saint Basil of Ostrog requesting a withdrawal of a draft of the discriminatory Bill on Freedom of Religion and Legal Status of Churches and Religious Communities.

On the feast of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-called, December 13, 2019, His Grace Bishop Lukijan of Buda officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the monastery of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God – Ráckeve (Srpski Kovin), Hungary.

The Bishop was concelebrated by Archimandrite Andrei Pandurovic, abbot of the monastery; hieromonk Mitrofan Gajic, spiritual of the monastery of Grabovac; deacons Andras Solja and Stefan Milisavic, in the prayerful participation of clergy from surrounding places and nuns from the Grabovac monastery.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Saint Nicholas church in Zemun - Belgrade on December 19, 2019, on the feast of Saint Nicholas the Miracle-Worker

The Patriarch was concelebrated by Archimandrite Seraphim (Kužić), abbot of the Rajinovac Monastery, hieromonk Petar (Bogdanovic) from the Tuman Monastery, protopresbyter-staurophors: Ljuba Milosevic from New Jersey, Luka Novakovic from Philadelphia and Drasko Tepavac, presbyter Vladimir Prasic and deacons Vladimir Rumenic and Dragan Tanasijevic.

Their Eminences Bishops Fotije of Zvornik and Tuzla and Heruvim of Osek-Polje and Baranja celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of the Translation of relics of Saint Nicholas in Vukovar on 15 December 2019.

The Bishop was concelebrated by local clergy. The Liturgical celebration was enhanced with chanting of the choir Saint Roman Melod from Brcko.

The reception took place at the Patriarchate Palace on December 16, 2019.

Mufti Dr. Mevlud ef. Dudic thanked the Serbian Patriarch for the reception when they discussed current challenges facing Orthodox and Muslim believers in the country, region and the world, as well as some opportunities to overcome them.

Pastoral care for prisoners in Lepoglava and Remetinec

The prisoners expressed their deep gratitude to Metropolitan Porfirije for his pastoral care and love for them.

His Eminence Metropolitan Porfirije of Zagreb and Ljubljana, accompanied by presbyter Radovan Dimitric and deacon Ugljesa Pilinger, visited Serbs and оther Orthodox prisoners serving prison sentences in the Croatian prisons of Lepoglava and Remetinec on December 10 and 11, 2019.
