2016 Winter Camp in Acron-Canton
3. January 2017 - 20:08Winter Camp was held from December 26th – 28th, 2016 at host parishes St Archangel Michael in Akron and St George in North Canton. The theme for this year’s camp was “Finding Christ in the Feast”.
Serbian Father's Day at St. Petka Church with Bishop Maxim

January 2017 - 14:03Today in our holy St. Petka Church, on this Sunday before Christmas - on Serbian Father's Day - His Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America served the Holy Hierarchical Divine Liturgy together with Prota Milan and Prota Milovan. After liturgy, on this holiday when our fathers are tied up and have to be untied through their gifts of love, all in preparation for the Feast of the Lord's Nativity, our children tied up Bishop Maxim and he bought his freedom by giving them gifts and his blessing.
Celebration of Saint Spiridon the Wonderworker in Trieste
30. December 2016 - 16:30The Patron Saint-day of the church of Saint Spiridon in Trieste was solemly celebrated with the participation of His Eminence Metropolitan Porfirije of Zagreb-Ljubljana and of the competent Bishop Andrej of Austria-Switzerland.
The solemn Vesper service was served by Metropolitan Porfirije with the concelebration of archimandrite Grigorios Miliaris, the principal of the Greek church of Saint Nicholas in Trieste, protopresbyter-stavrophor Toma Cirkovic, the principal of the church of Saint Sava in Koper, Slovenia, protopresbyter Vladimir Melynichuk, priest of the Russian Orthodox Church in Udine, and other Serbian priests.
Deputy President of the Russian State Duma in the Church of Saint Sava

December 2016 - 13:18Deputy President of the Russian State Duma and high official of the party “United Russia” Mr. Sergej Zeleznyak visited the Memorial Cathedral of Saint Sava in the Vracar District accompanied by Mr. Marko Djuric, Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija of the Government of the Republic of Serbia on 26 December 2016.
The high official from our friendly country of Russia was welcomed by the Principal of the Cathedral of Saint Sava His Grace Bishop Arsenije of Toplica, Vicar Bishop of the Serbian Patriarch, who together with the guests toured the Memorial Cathedral of Saint Sava and explained them in brief the history of the church.
