A New Priest in Las Vegas

St. Gregory of Constantinople said that the preistly service is a science above sciences and an art beyond arts. The goal and meaning of its existence is to see, hear, feel, rest, progess, ripen, and to know all beings, to accept and to offer the message of life, to become a priest of creation. To serve the service of sabornost with all of nature, in the all general Liturgy, with the Hierarch, Him "Who is the Offerer and the Offered, who accepts and distributes" for the salvation of the entire world.

Protocol on Cooperation with Telekom Srbija

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received Mr. Predrag Culibrk, the Director-General of Telekom Srbija, with associates at the Serbian Patriarchate on 10 November 2015.

On this occaison they signed  the Protocol on mutual cooperation of the Serbian Patriarchate and Telekom Srbija.

Mayor of Belgrade visits Serbian Patriarch

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received Mayor of Belgrade Mr. Sinisa Mali with associates at the Serbian Patriarchate on 10 November 2015.

During the meeting they discussed common tasks which the Board of Directors of the Patriarchate and the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac have with city services and public enteprises of the City of Belgrade on the completion of the works on the Saint Sava Cathedral and on the construction of new churches on the territory of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac. 

Metropolitan Barnabas of Neapolis-Stauropolis visits the Serbian Patriarchate

A great friend of the Serbian people and the Serbian Orthodox Church His Eminence Metropolitan Barnabas of Neapolis-Stauropolis arrived to Belgrade on 5 November 2015.

His Grace Vicar Bishop Arsenije of Toplica, with the blessing of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej, welcomed His Eminence at the airport Nikola Tesla. The high guest was escorted by protopresbyters Nicholas Kalaidzides and Leones Ephremides, hierodeacon Panteleimonos Anastasiades, secretary of the Metropolis; personal secretary Mr. Chrysostomos Tiris and priest Aleksandar Pavlovic.

Bishop Maxim visits Portland

On Sunday, November 1. 2015. at the St. Stephen Archdeacon and Protomartyr Serbian Orthodxo Church in Portland, Oregon, His Grace Bishop Maxim served the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy together with Father Sava from Monastery Tvrdos in Herzegovina, Deacon Zoran Aleksic, Fr. Milan Unkovic, and clergy from neighboring parishes and many parishioners and guests.

Representatives of United Nations visits Serbian Patriarch

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations for Kosovo and the chief of UNMIK Mr. Zahir Tanin at the Serbian Patriarchate on 4 November 2015.

The meeting was attended by representative of UN Secretary General to Belgrade Mrs. Simona-Mirela Miculescu and members of the Holy Synod of Bishops – Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral and Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren.
