Celebration of Patron Saint’s day of monastery of Decani

Patron Saint’s day of Saint King Stephen of Decani also this year was solemnly celebrated in the monastery of Decani. Kyr Teodosije, Bishop of Raska-Prizren, celebrated the solemn Vigil service in the presence of monks from many Dioceses of the SOC and lots of believers.

Bishop Atanasije Attends Celebration of Jubilee of 250th Rocket Brigade

Within the Military Academy complex and the military barrack on Banjica the 250^th Rocket Brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces celebrated the significant jubilee – its fiftieth anniversary. Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, addressed soldiers, military leaders and their guests, conveying the greetings of His Holiness  Irinej, Serbian Patriarch.

Serbian Patriarch celebrates Holy Liturgy on Bezanijska Kosa

His Holiness Kyr Irinej, Serbian Patriarch celebrated yesterday, on the feast day of Saint John the Merciful the Holy Hiearchal Liturgy at the church of Saint Basil of Ostrog on Bezanijska Kosa. On this occasion, His Holiness presented to Dr Dusan Vukotic, the vice deputy director of the Clinical Centre Bezanijska Kosa in Belgrade, the Order of Saint Sava of the Second Degree.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received today, on 23 November 2012, at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade H.E. Archbishop Orlando Antonini, the Apostolic Nuncio in Belgrade, accompanied by H.E. Archbishop of Belgrade Stanislav Hocevar and Mr. Dejan Miladinovic, the Director of the Opera of the National Theater in Belgrade.

Patron Saint’s Day of Special Anti-terrorist Unit of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia

The feast day of Holy Michael the Archangel has been celebrated by the members of the Special Anti-terrorist Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, already for 11 years. This year, His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno performed the Holy Liturgy in the courtyard of the church of Saint Stephen of Decani in Batajnica in the presence of Mr. Spasoje Vulevic, commander of the SAJ, as well as  the high representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and many guests.
