Celebration of Patron Saint's day of doctors in Belgrade

With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, His Grace Atanasije, Bishop of Hvosno served the Divine Liturgy in the chapel of Holy Wonderworkers and Unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian, on Wednesday 14 November, at the Clinical Center of Serbia.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received yesterday, on 14 November 2012, at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade Mrs. Verica Kalanovic, Minister of Regional Development and Local Self-Government, and Mr. Mileta Radojevic, the Director of the Office for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

Patron Saint’s Day in Lingen

His Grace Bishop Constantine of Middle Europe served on Sunday the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Lingen near Osnabrück. The occasion was the Patron Saint’s day of this chapel – Holy Archangel Michael. After the Holy Liturgy the slava cake was cut.

The chapel in Lingen is the property of the Church-school congregation of Osnabrück. Services are held two times a month. In Lingen there are about twenty Orthodox families 

Church celebrated its Patron Saint’s day in Windsor

On Sunday, 11 November 2012, the Patron Saint’s day of the parish of Holy Great Martyr Demetrius in Windsor was solemnly celebrated. His Grace George, Bishop of Canada, celebrated the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy. The local church choir sang responses. Following the Holy Liturgy there was a solemn procession with the participation of many believers.

Bishop Andrej of Remesiana visits London

On 23^rd Sunday after Pentecost, on feast day of Venerable Father Abramius the Recluse and Holy Martyr Anastasia the Roman His Grace Andrej, Bishop of Remesiana, Vicar of Serbian Patriarch, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church of Saint Sava in London. Following the Holy Liturgy, Bishop Andrej addressed the faithful and conveyed greetings and prayers of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch.

Feast day of Holy King Milutin in Banjska Monastery solemnly celebrated

On the feast day of Holy King Milutin the endower's Patron Saint's day of the monastery of Banjska near Zvecan was solemnly celebrated. His Grace Bishop Jovan of Nis served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy. Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren and Vicar Bishop Jovan of Lipljan concelebrated.
