Serbian Patriarch meets with President of Roma Party

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received today on May 7, 2012 in the Patriarchate court in Belgrade a delegation of the Roma community which was led by Mr. Srdjan Sajn, president of the Roma Party and the member of Parliament of Serbia.
Feast of Saint Plato of Bishop Jefrem of Banjaluka

On Saturday, May 5, 2012 the Orthodox Church prayerfully celebrated Saint Plato the Great Martyr, of Bishop Jefrem of Banja Luka. Throughout the Banja Luka diocese Holy Liturgies were held, and the most solemn was in the court chapel of Holy Trinity in Banja Luka, where the relics of Holy Bishop Plato are buried. The Divine Liturgy was served by Bishop Jefrem of Banja Luka and Bishop Dr Mitrophan of East America with the concelebration of eight priests and two deacons.
Slava of St. George church in Prizren

In Prizren the church slava was solemnly celebrated in Prizren yesterday in the church of St. George the Great Martyr. The joy of the festivity was even greater, because the feast of St. George was also slava of Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren who led the Divine Liturgy with the concelebration of 14 priests and the choir of the Prizren seminarians. The Holy Liturgy was attended by many believers from all parts of Serbia and Montenegro, representatives of the municipality of Gracanica, KFOR, UNMIK and the Italian office in Pristina.
Twentieth Anniversary of Church Community of Bocholt

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Church community in Bocholt, Hi Grace Bishop Konstantin of Middle Europe visited on Saturday, May 28 this West German city. At 18h His Grace Bishop served the Vigil service with the concelebration of local priests.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served the Holy Hiearchal Liturgy in the church of St. Great Martyr George in Old Bezanija with the concelebration of many priests of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac. On this way Holy Great Martyr and Victory-bearer George was solemnly celebrated.
Conference of the Edict of Milan opens

In the congress hall of the Hotel Center in Novi Sad, on Wednesday, May 3, 2012 an international conference began: The Edict of Milan (313-2013): Basis for freedom of religion and belief.
