On the feast of the Saint Great Martyr George, the slava of the Cathedral church in Sombor, the Divine Liturgy was served by presbyter Savo Nikolic with the concelebration of local priests.

Activity of the Committee for Jasenovac of the Holy Assembly of Bishops in the United States

During the first and second week after Easter, His grace Bishop Jovan of Lipljan, coordinator of the Committee for Jasenovac of the Holy Assembly of Bishops, went in his working visit to the United States of America. Besides the participation of the eleventh marking of the Memorial Day of Jasenovac in New York City, on April 21-22, 2012 which he attended with the blessing of Holy Synod of Bishops, Bishop Jovan had many activities on improvement of the work of the Committee for Jasenovac and its international connections and activities.

Slava of Cathedral church in Novi Sad

Citizens of the city of Novi Sad, led by His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa, on Sunday fourth after Pascha, on May 6, 2012, solemnly celebrated the slava of the church of Saint Great Martyr, Victorbearer and Wonder-worker George.

His Grace Bishop Konstantin of Middle Europe on its slava, St. Great Martyr George served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the monastery of Most Holy Theotokos in Himmelstir with  concelebration of the head of the monastery, protosyngellos Sergije (Paraklis) and presbyter Bosko Janjic from Cassel. His Grace received greetings from His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch and many bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
