Nis: Library „Elder Nikanor of Chilandar“ opens

With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Arsenije of Nis a library "Elder Nikanor of Chilandar" opened at the parish house of the church of the Resurrection of Christ within the Chilandar's metochion in Nis, on 4 March 2021.

His Grace Bishop consecrated the premises of the Library with the concelebration of archpriest Miodrag Pavlovic, Diocesan dean of Nis I, and deacon Djordje Filipovic with archpriest Dejan Krstic, professor of the Seminary of Sts. Cyril and Methodius, who sang responses. 

Crosses were erected on the domes of the church of Saint Nectarios of Aegina in Subotica

On the feast day of Holy Great Martyr Theodore of Amasea, 2 March 2021, after the completion of the roofing works on the church of St. Nectarios of Aegina in Subotica, crosses were erected and a lightning rod was installed. The crosses are a gift from the family of Mr. Stevan Ardalic from Subotica.

Bishop Sergije received a delegation of the City Assembly of the City of Berlin

His Grace Bishop Sergije of Bihac-Petrovac and Rmanj received a delegation of the City Assembly and the Province of Berlin, headed by Mr. Andras Wild and Mr. Gunnar Lindeman. 

Bishop Jovan served in the church of St. Joanikije of Devic in Bresnica

On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, on the Sunday of the Prodigal Son and on the feast of the Holy Lion of Rome and Saint Flavian of Constantinople, His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadia, served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of St. Joanikije of Devic in the Kragujevac neighborhood of Bresnica.

Canonical visit of Bishop Siluan to South Australia

In the previous year, restrictive measures, introduced due to the COVID-19 virus, made it impossible to travel from one federal state of Australia to another. Those measures were finally suspended, so the canonical visit of Bishop Siluan was finally made possible, which made all Orthodox Serbs living in South Australia very happy.

On Saturday, February 27, 2021, when the Church celebrates the Venerable Auxentius and St. Cyril the Slav, the Bishop visited the convent of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God in Inglewood, where he served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy.

Patron Saint-day of Saint Simeon the Myrrh-Streaming in South Chicago

On Sunday, 28 February 2021 parishioners of the church of Saint Simeon the Myrrh-Streaming in South Chicago solemnly celebrated their Patron Saint-day. The service was officiated by His Grace Bishop Longin with the concelebration of Archimandrite Toma (Kazic), archpriest Aleksandar Savic and protodeacon Milovan Gogic.
