His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic served on the feast day of St. Great-Martyr Demetrius the Myrrh-Streaming, on Thursday, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the monastery of Bijela near Savnik. Liturgical celebration was enhanced by a promotion of hieromonk Isaiah, the heugemon of the monastery, who became archimandrite.

On the day when our Holy Orthodox Church celebrates Holy Apostle of Jacob and All Soul's Day on Saturday November 5, His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic served the requiem for the dead in the monastery of Djurdjevi Stupovi.
The faithful people, who gathered at the Holy service, in which monks of the monastery concelebrated, were adressed by His Grace Bishop who spoke about All Sould Day, the day dedicated to prayers for the repose of our relative's souls.
