Divine Liturgy in Mostar

On Sunday, twenty first after the Pentecost, on November 6, 2011 in the Old church in Mostar Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the oncelebration of protopresbyter-staurophor Radivoje Krulj and presbyter Danilo Bor. On the same day a brotherly meeting of all priests from Diocese of Zahumlje Herzegovina was held. After the meeting Bishop Grigorije held the fourth lecture within the seminar for priests and catechists. The theme of the lecture was "Dialecticts of the created and the uncreated".

Serbian Patriarch Irinej received high guests from the Roman Catholic Church

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received today in the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade cardinal Vinko Puljic, the archbishop of Vrh Bosna, and monsignor Vincenzo Paglia, Bishop of the diocese of Tarni-Narni-Amelia (Italy), accompanied also by professor Alberto Quatrucci from Rome. The reception was attended  by Their Graces Bishops - Irinej of Backa, the member of the Holy Synod of Bishops, Andrej of Remesiana, Vicar of the Serbian Patriarch.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served yesterday the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in a newly built church of Venerable Mother Parascheva in Belgrade's suburb of Rusanj.

The cornerstone of a new church devoted to Holy Trinity, was consecrated and laid by His Grace Bishop Pahomije of Vranje. In this beautiful village, which is unfortunately remains more and more without people because of the great migration, for the first time an Orthodox church is being raised to a spiritual joy of the faithful people of the village of Ploca and all the area.

On Thursday, November 1 of this year, with a clearance of stone walls and a release of deposits formed during the past few centuries, the work on the restoration of St. Paul's Church in the village of Doli commenced, on the hill above the monastery of Sts. Peter and Paul.
