At the invitation of the Oxford Union, His All-Holiness delivered an address to the members and guests of the Oxford Union on November 4, 2015, at the University of Oxford.

The Oxford Union is the world's oldest and most prestigious debating society, which has numbered among its renowned international speakers such dignitaries as Albert Einstein, Sir Winston Churchill, and Sen. Robert Kennedy.

At the invitation of the Archbishop of Canterbury, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew paid a formal visit to Lambeth Palace from November 2-4, 2015.

The occasion was in response to Archbishop Justin’s visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate last year.

On November 28, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated the Feast of the Apostles St. Thaddeus and St. Bartholomew. By the Pontifical Encyclical of November 28, 2014 of His Holiness Karekin II, the Feast Day of the Founders of the Armenian Church, St. Thaddeus and St. Bartholomew has been declared a pilgrimage day of the Holy Lance.

3 Churches Destroyed in 1 Month Amid Rampant Christian Persecution in Sudan

  Christians in the predominantly Muslim country of Sudan continue to suffer intense persecution, with the government engaging in a systematic destruction of churches, a conservative law group has warned.

The American Center for Law and Justice said Tuesday that its contacts on the ground in Sudan have affirmed that government officials continue to order the destruction of Christian churches, further marginalizing the minority Christian population.
