31. July 2019 - 9:28His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received His Excellency Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia in the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 30 July 2019.
The audience was attended by Mr. Denis Kuznedelev, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Belgrade; and deacon Aleksandar Prascevic, head of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch.

29. July 2019 - 13:30It was a very beautiful and seasonally hot morning on July 21, 2019 in the Great Central Valley when His Grace, Bishop Maxim, arrived at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Fresno, California.
This year marked the 68th celebration of Petrovdan for the Fresno faithful as we gathered as the Eucharistic parish community which has been mystically identified with Ss. Peter & Paul—through Christ—to specifically ask them to intercede in our behalf, and to glorify God “who is wonderful in His saints.”

The hierarchs, clergy and delegates representing parishes and diocesan bodies from the three Dioceses of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the United States of America met July 13-16, 2019 at New Gracanica Monastery in Third Lake, Illinois and St. Sava Monastery in Libertyville, Illinois for the 22nd Church Assembly-Sabor of the Serbian Orthodox Dioceses in the United States. Throughout, the meetings were characterized by Christian fellowship in prayer, which brings the love and unity of mind and heart, which are the gifts of the Holy Spirit to those who assemble in Christ's name to the glory of God the Father.

First and foremost, we are grateful to those parishes who made the effort to fully sponsor one of their youth to come to such an amazing gathering. It is truly a joy when the youth of our Church come together from all over the nation for learning, fellowship, and obviously prayer. The young people even took part in some of the meetings at theassembly, learning what they should expect going forward and that improvements are always possible.
