The Serbian Patriarch received in audience the State Secretary of the Vatican

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej received His Eminence Pietro Cardinal Parolin, State Secretary of the Holy See, in the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade, on June 30, 2018.
His Eminence thanked His Holiness for the cordial reception, during which a discussion was held on numerous topics concerning the life of the two Churches. Patriarch Irinej expressed his gratitude to Cardinal Parolin for the visit and a message of Pope Francis of Rome as well as for the official position of the Vatican which prefers dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina to an unilateral recognition of an independence of the southern Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija.
Saint Vitus Day celebrated in Zagreb
30. June 2018 - 19:11The Saint Vitus Day was marked with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of Holy Transfuguration of the Lord in Zagreb which was celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Dr. Porfirije of Zagreb-Ljubljana.
Metropolitan Porfirije was concelebrated by priests and deacons of the Cathedral church, and Archimandrite Danilo (Ljubotina), with the blessing of the Metropolitan, held a sermon about this feast day.
Saint Vitus Day celebrated solemnly in Krusevac

June 2018 - 14:28On the Eve of Saint Vitus Day, when church Lazarica celebrates its founder and protector Saint Great martyr Prince Lazar, the solemn Vigil service was celebrated, after which the slava cake was cut on the occasion of the slava of the choir of Holy Prince Lazar. The Vigil service, which was celebrated by Bishop David of Krusevac with the clergy of the Diocese of Krusevac, was attended by lots of faithful people and clergy of the city of Krusevac.
His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej celebrated the Holy Divine Liturgy with the concelebration of Bishop David of Krusevac.
