Patriarch Irinej meets with Mr. Dmitry Malishev

July 2012 - 9:57His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received yesterday, July 19, 2012 at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade, Mr. Dmitry Malishev, high representative of the Gasprom company, which leads a project of the South Stream pipeline. Mr. Dmitry Malishev, who received the Order of St. Sava from the Serbian Orthodox Church two years ago, asked Patriarch Irinej for blessing and prayerful support to this significant project not for Serbia but also for all the region.
Saint Peter's Day in Bijelo Polje

July 2012 - 9:04The feast of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, the slava of the church in Bijelo Polje was celebrated on Thursday, July 12, with the liturgical gathering which was led by His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic and with the solemn procession of the faithful which in memory of Apostles and Saints of God went throught streets of Bijelo Polje.
British diplomats visit Serbian Patriarch

July 2012 - 9:50His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch yesterday, on July 17, 2012 at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade received Mr. Owen Jennings, chief of the Western Balkan and EU Enlargement Department in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and His Excellency Michael Devenport, Ambassador of Great Britain in Serbia. The reception was attended by His Grace Bishop Andrej of Remesiana, vicar of the Serbian Patriarch.
St. Peter's Day Fest at Black River monastery
18. July 2012 - 8:52The tradiitonal St. Peter's Day Fest also this year was organized at the Black River (Crna Reka) monastery. Gathered around the reliquary of Saint Peter of Korise, around two hundred believers from all parts of Serbia prayerfully attended the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy which was led by Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren with the concelebration of seven priests.
100th anniversary of the church of Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostles in Milici

Peter and Paul the Apostles in the village of Milici in Bela Krajina (Slovenija). On this occasion the 100th anniversary of this church was marked.

July 2012 - 11:55His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch with the priesthood of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac served yesterday on July 15, 2012 the Divine Liturgy in the church of St. Nicholas in Zemun. After the liturgical gathering His Holiness informed about the works on the restoration of this oldest Zemun's church.
