Official receptions at the Serbian Patriarchate (April 9, 2010)

His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia received today, at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade, Jovan Krkobabic, vice president of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and president of the Party of the United Pensioners of Serbia. The reception was attended by a lawyer Toma Fila.

Patriarch Irinej served on Annunciation in Zemun

His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia served on April 7, 2010 on Annunciation, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Zemun. Holy Patriarch was concelebrated by the head of the church protopresbyter-staurophor Bozo Bakalic, secretary of the DHB of the Archbishopric; protopresbyter-staurophor Dr Vladimir Vukasinovic; protopresbyter-staurophor Vladimir Levichanin; presbyter M.Sc. Aleksandar Djakovac; presbyter Slobodan Drakulic; protodeacons Stevan Rapajic and Zoran Nikolic, deacons Dragan S. Tanasijevic and Nikola Soldatovic.

Service of Easter Tuesday in Vavedenje Monastery

His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, Vicar of Patriarch of Serbia, served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy on Easter Tuesday, in the Vavedenje Monastery, on Senjak, on behalf and with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia.

Easter concert of Children's choirs

With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, on April 5, 2010 at the Belgrade Cathedral Church the Easter concert of Children's choirs was held in an organization of the First Belgrade Singing Society. The concert was blessed and attended by His Holiness Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, the Vicar of Patriarch of Serbia.

At the concert the Children choir of the Belgrade Singing Society (the conducter Emilija Milin) and the Children choir of the church singing society Branko from Nish (the conducter Jovana Mikic). In the program there were works of Serbian, Russian and Greek authors of the orthodox choral music.

Holy Liturgy on Easter in Cathedral Church in Belgrade

The most joyous Christian holiday - Ressurection of Our Lord, in the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac was celebrated with the Divine Liturgy served at midnight and on Sunday morning, in the churches full of pious people of the Serbian capital - the people eager to meet the Ressurected Lord through receiving Sacrament.

In the Cathedral church in Belgrade, His Grace Bishop Atanasije, Vicar of Patriarch, in the presence and with blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with a beginning at 9am. His Grace Bishop was concelebrated by priests and deacons of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac.
