Bishop Atanasije at Vavedenje Monastery

Today's feast day of the 20,000 Holy Martyrs of Nicomedia was  officially celebrated with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Vavedenje Monastery on Senjak in Belgrade. The Holy Hierarhal Liturgy was served by His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno. During the Holy Liturgy, Bishop presented the hagiography of the holiday, which formed a message to the people how to live in Christ and with Christ, as did all our ancestors.

Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at church at the Djurdjevi Stupovi Monastery

On the feast day of the Synaxis of the Most Holy Theotokos on January 8, 2010 His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje and Niksic Niksic  served with the priesthood the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Djurdjevi Stupovi monastery near Berane.After the end of the liturgy, Bishop gave a sermon to the  gathered people, where he especially referred to the graceful gifts that we received from our intercessor before the Lord The Most Holy Virgin Mary.

Tadic today after the Christmas liturgy said that in Kosovo above all, it is necessary for people to reconcile among themselves and within their families, but also for the nations to reconcile, to find a solution for troubles and problems which derive from the past.
