His Grace Bishop Sergije of Bihac-Petrovac visited His Grace Bishop Jefrem of Banjaluka at the Bishop's court in Banja Luka on 1 July 2020.

Patron Saint-day of the side chapel in Pozega

The feast day of Saint John of Shanghai and the Patron Saint-day of the side chapel in Pozega, were prayerfully celebrated on Thursday, July 2., 2020. Saint Lazarus Day in Gracanica: We will persevere with the God\s power and our faith

Serbian Saint Lazarus Day was solemnly celebrated in the monastery of Gracanica with the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy celebrated by Bishop Atanasije of Zaholm-Herzegovina, with the concelebration of the clergy of the Diocese of Raska - Prizren.

Liturgical responses were sung by the church choir from Cacak, with the participation of several hundred faithful from all parts of central Serbia, Montenegro, Republika of Srpska and Northern Macedonia. Due to the specific conditions of the pandemic this year, the number of believers was much smaller than usual, but many who could not come participated in the all-Serbian celebration of Saint Lazarus Day, praying in their own churches around the world.

Saint Lazarus Day celebrated in the royal city of Krusevac

His Grace Bishop David of Krusevac consecrated the cornerstone of the church of the Holy Prince Lazarus in the Krusevac barracks. The ceremony was attended by Mayor Mrs. Jasmina Palurovic, Director of the BIA Mr. Bratislav Gasic, Minister Mr. Zoran Djordjevic, as well as by quite a number of the Serbian Armed Forces.

On the Eve of the Serbian Saint Lazarus Day, when the church  Lazarica celebrates its founder and protector, the Holy Great Martyr Prince Lazarus, a solemn Vigil was served, after which the feast loaf was broken on the occasion of the slava of the choir of Saint Prince Lazar. The vigil, which was served by His Grace Bishop David of Krusevac and the clergy of the Diocese of Krusevac, was attended by faithful people and the clergy of the city of Krusevac.
