Patriarch serves in the church of Holy Trinity
30. May 2018 - 11:04On Bright Tuesday, 29 May 2018 His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of Holy Trinity in Belgrade.
The Primate of the Serbian Church was concelebrated presbyters parish priest of the church of Holy Trinity Borjan Antic, Vukasin Teofilovic from Lestani and Branislav Borota from Arandjelovac, as well ads deacon Branislav Jocic. His Eminence Metropolitan Jacob of Mytilene also attended the service.
Many parishioners and believers from all Belgrade attended the service.
Feast-Day of the Holy Pentecost in Cathedral church in Novi Sad

May 2018 - 8:11On the Sunday of the Holy Pentecost, on 27 May 2018, His Grace Bishop Irinej of Novi Sad and Backa celebrated the Holy Liturgy with the concelebration of the Bishop electus of Osijek-Polje and Baranja Heruvim (Djermanovic), protopresbyter-staurophor Nikola Bilic, parish at the church of Saint Great Martyr George in Sidney, brotherhood of the Cathedral church and some deacons of Novi Sad at the Cathedral church in Novi Sad.
During the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Irinej elevated abbot Heruvim, the head of the monastery of the Ascension of the Most Holy Mother of God in Dalj and elected Bishop of Osek-Polje and Baranja, to the rank of Archimandrite.
Saint Nicholas Slava celebration in Monroeville

May 2018 - 12:22On Sunday, May 20th, the day our Holy Orthodox Church celebrates and commemorates the Sunday of the Holy Fathers of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicea, the parish of St. Nicholas Church in Monroeville, PA, also celebrated its feast day and Slava, the Transfer of the relics of St. Nicholas the Wonder-worker from Myra (today's Turkey) to the city of Bari (today's Italy).
Holy and Divine Liturgy was served and celebrated by the host priest, Very Rev. Fr. George Veselinovic together with visiting clergy the Very Rev. Fr. Andrej Aleksejev, Very Rev. Fr. Rodney Torbic, Rev. Fr. Branislav Golic and the Very Rev. Deacon Jovan Anicic.
SerbFest in Washington, D.C.
28. May 2018 - 11:19With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Irinej of Eastern America, St. Luke Serbian Orthodox Church in Washington, DC organized its Spring parish festival – SerbFest DC – on May 18-20th, 2018.
From year to year, the festival has been attracting increased interest of the public. This year, the trend has continued, and the attendance surpassed all expectations. The third year in a row, SerbFest is attracting interest of both Serbs and non-Serbs in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Besides the visitors from the neighboring states (e.g., Pennsylvania and Delaware), this year we had guests from other parts of the United States (e.g., Texas), Canada, and as far as Australia.
The Serbian Patriarch arrived in Moscow
23. May 2018 - 10:49His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, arrived in Moscow along with His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa and Very Venerable Archimandrite Isihije, Bishop Electus of Mohac.
At the airport „Sheremetyevo“ the Serbian Patriarch and the members of his escort were welcomed by the President of the Department of the External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, Bishop John od Domodyedov, deputy of the President of the DECR Archpriest Nikolai Balashov, some clergy of the Russian capital,the persident of the International Fund of Unity for the Orthodox Peoples Pof. V.A. Alekseyev and associate of the DECR A. Hoshev.
Patriarch Irinej of Serbia in Moscow

May 2018 - 9:16The International Fund for Unity of the Orthodox Peoples, with the blessing of His Holiness Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, President of the Board of Trustees of this Fund, decided unanimously that His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, be awarded with a prestigious award “for a special contribution to the strengthening of the unity of the Orthodox peoples”.
For that occasion, upon the invitation of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, whose letter was personally handed over to the Serbian Patriarch by the President of this Fund Professor Valery Alekseyev, His Holiness will stay in Moscow from 22 until 25 May 2018 along with His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa and Very Venerable Archimandrite Isihije, Bishop Electus of Mohac.
