June 2018 - 12:28His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received the Commander of the Cypriot National Guard Lieutenant General Elias Leontaris, accompanied by the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Ljubisa Dikovic, at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 5 June 2018.
Lieutenant General Leontaris thanked His Holiness for the cordial reception during which they had conversations about mutual efforts of the state and religious institutions in fighting against all forms of threats to security in Serbia, on Cyprus and in the world.

3. June 2018 - 14:53His Grace, Lord Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury and Primate of England, the head of the Anglican Community, arrived in Belgrade on June 2, 2018.
The Church dignitary was accompanied by: The Rt Revd Dr Robert Innes, the Bishop of Gibraltar in Europe; The Rt Revd Jonathan Goodall, Bishop of Ebbsfleet - The Church of England’s Lead Bishop for Eastern Orthodox Relations; The Revd Dr William Adam, Archbishop of Canterbury’s Ecumenical Adviser and Ecumenical Officer at the Council for Christian Unity.
Seattle Parish Celebrates Krsna Slava
31. May 2018 - 15:36On the Seventh Sunday after Pascha, parishioners of St. Sava Church in Seattle celebrated their Patronal Feast Day - Transfer of the Relics of St Sava.
His Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America served the Divine Liturgy together with Rev. Protopresbyter Serafim Gascoigne from the Church of the Holy Protection of the Theotokos, Seattle, Rev. Protopresbyter Irenaeus Williams from the Holy Resurrection Church, Tacoma, and parish priest Rev. Zoran Aleksic. After reading of the Holy Gospel, addressing the, Bishop Maxim spoke about the blessing of our Lord that assured the Apostles, during this period from His Resurrection to Ascension, that He is the Son of God and the Redeemer of the world. We also, as His disciples, receive from these Feast days the comfort, joy, strength, and at the same time the knowledge that the Lord Jesus Christ is with us until the end of time.

May 2018 - 15:43The long anticipated project of frescoing the interior of the recently erected and consecrated church, dedicated to St. Simeon the Myrrhflowing, in Charlotte, North Carolina has been initiated with the blessings of His Grace Bishop Irinej. The church of St. Simeon, together with its chapel of St. Arsenius of Srem, is a constituent body of the St. Petersburg Deanery, of the Diocese of Eastern America.
