Patronal Feast of the Cathedral Church in Trebinje, Herzegovina

The patronal feast of the church and the city, the Transfiguration of the Lord, was solemnly celebrated in Trebinje on the Saturday of 19 August 2017.
On the Eve of the feast-day of the Holy Transfiguration of the Lord, which is the patronal feast of the city and the church, in Trebinje, the Vesper service was performed. His Beatitude kyr Jovan, Archbishop of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje, officiated the service with the concelebration of the clergy and deacons.
Transfiguration of the Lord on Vidikovac

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the church of Transfiguration of the Lord on Vidikovac in Belgrade.
His Holiness was concelebrated by the clergy and deacons of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovac.
Beginning the Restoration of Saint Sava Cathedral

We are pleased to inform you that the Invocation of the Holy Spirit for the beginning of the rebuilding of our Saint Sava Cathedral, at 15 West 25th Street in New York City, will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 6pm.
His Grace Bishop Irinej will celebrate the service and bless the work site. Thanks to our Serbian Club, following the prayer service, Lenten pastries and refreshments will be served. We pray that, with God's help, we will complete this important task as planned, beginning with the removal of the debris and shortly thereafter proceed to the renovation phase of our beloved Cathedral. New Cathedral dean served the first Liturgy with brotherhood
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch appointed Archimandrite Stefan Saric, former spiritual elder of the Rajinovac monastery near Belgrade, as a dean of Saint Sava Cathedral in Belgrade, on 7 August 2017.
Bishop Antonije received Bishop Nicholas from Cyprus

With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, His Grace Vicar Bishop Antonije of Moravica welcomed His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Amathus from the Orthodox Church of Cyprus along with a group of pilgrims from Cyprus in the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
On this occasion Bishop Antonije greeted him with a welcome speech. Bishop Antonije was accompanied by deacon Aleksandar Prascevic, PhD, chief of the Office of the Serbian Patriarch; deacon Vladimir Radovanovic, Director of the Museum; and deacon Dragan Tanasijevc, photographer of the Information Service of the SOC.
First Liturgy of Bishop Arsenije of Nis

On the Day of the Procession of the Precious Cross, 14 August 2017, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, attended the Holy Liturgy at the Cathedral church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit unto the Apostles in Nis.
His Grace Bishop Arsenije of Nis officiated the Holy Liturgy. The service was attended also by His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren, former administrator of the DIocese of Nis.
