Bishop Irinej Visits Saint Nicholas Parish in Steelton

Visit of His Grace, our Bishop and Father, Irinej to Steelton, Pennsylvania

The faithful of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in Steelton, Pennsylvania greeted Vladika Irinej on a bright spring morning for the first Sunday of Lent, the Triumph of Orthodoxy.

Sunday of Orthodoxy in Zica

In the first week of Lent -  Sunday of Orthodoxy, the day when the Church celebrates the memory of the establishment of respect for icons in 843, during the reign of Empress Theodora and Patriarch Methodius, after a long persecution of icons in the VIII and IX century, in the Zica monastery sisterhood, clergy and faithful with joy welcomed their archpastor, the Bishop Justin of Zica.

Bishop Justin of Zica officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of Archimandrite Damjan (Cvetkovic), Jakov (Lazovic) and Sava (Ilic), protopresbyter-staurophors Lazar Vasiljevic and Nenad Ilic, protonamesnik Dragan Gligic and Milos Stanisavljevic, as well as protodeacon Aleksandar Grujovic.

Sunday of Orthodoxy in the Saint Sava Cathedral in Belgrade

Patriarch Porfirije: Freedom is in life which is in harmony with the will of God, and that means in harmony with all that is true and genuine nature. 

His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the crypt of the Saint Sava Cathedral in the Vracar district, in Belgrade, on Sunday of Orthodoxy, 21 March 2021. Their Graces Bishops Nikodim of Dalmatia and Stefan of Remesiana, Vicar of the Serbian Patriarch, as well archpriests Dragan Sovljanski and Ivan Strbacki, hierodeacon Sava (Bundalo) and protodeacon Mladen Kovacevic conceebrated. Reader Milos Stamenkovic read the Apostle.

On the first week of the Great Lent - Sunday of Orthodoxy, 21 March 2021, His Grace Bishop of Budimlje-Niksic and Administrator of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral Kyr Joanikije officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of the clergy of Berane and the brotherhood of the monastery in the monastery of Djurdjevi Stupovi. 

Bishop Fotije: This faith strengthens the universe!

His Grace Bishop Fotije of Zvornik-Tuzla celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of Holy Prophet Elijah in Janja on Sunday of Orthodoxy, 21 March 2021. 

The Bishop was concelebrated by  protopresbyter-staurophors Miodrag Gavric and Cviko Mojic, retired parish priests of Bijeljina; archpriest Aleksandar Tesic, diocesan dean of Ugljevik and Janja; protodeacon Bogdan Stjepanovic and deacon Milenko Krajisnik.
