On Thursday, September 14/27, on the feast day of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-giving Cross, the participants of the conference Inter-Orthodox Network of Initiatives for Research of Religious and Destructive cults assembled at the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Cathedral church in Novi Sad.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served yesterday, on the feast day of teh Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Divine Liturgy in the church of Holy father Nikolaj in Zemun. The slava procession led by Serbian Patriarch went through central streets of the town and ended in front of the Town Hall of Zemun, which celebrates the Exaltation of the Holy Cross as if slava.

The feast day of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos was celebrated in the Lepavina monastery with the liturgical gathering and in holiday's joy. In the monastery church full of believers, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by His Eminence Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb-Ljubljana with the concelebration of local priests.

On the feast day of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, His Grace Bishop Milutin of Valjevo served the Divine Liturgy in the Ribnica monastery near Mionica with the concelebration of the heugomen of the monastery Dr Nikodim (Bogosavljevic), heugomen of the monastery of Jovanja father Mihailo (Bikovic), episcopal dean of Kolubara protodean Sasa (Timotic), protodeacon Dejan Tripkovic and deacon Sasa Maksimovic. In the liturgical celebration of the feast day of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos many believers participated from many dioceses of the Serbian church.

Sunday, September 23, 2012 was a joyous day at the Nativity of the most Holy Theotokos Serbian Orthodox Church in Irvine, California. His Grace, Bishop Maxim, together with V. Rev. Blasko Paraklis and the parishioners and friends of the parish assembled together to celebrate the parish Slava, The Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos and Virgin Mary.
