Bishop Andrej serves at the Cathedral church

HIs Grace Bishop Andrej of Remesiana served the last week, on September 23, 2012 the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Cathedral church in Belgrade. He was concelebrated by many priests and deacons, the choir of this church chanted.

News from Sumadija

Medjuluzje - His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadija served on September 22, 2012 the Divine Liturgy in the church of Saint Joachim and Anna in Medjuluzje near Mladenovac. Many people welcomed its bishop and before the beginning of the Liturgy participated a consecration of the newly built  fountain in the church court yard.

Nativity of Holy mother of God in monastery of Koncul

In the monastery of Koncul a monastery slava was formally celebrated - the feast day of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos. The Holy Liturgy was served by Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren with the concelebration of six priests. At the end of the Liturgy Bishop blessed and cut the slava cake congratulating the slava to the heugomene of the monastery, mother Minadora and her sisters.

Great Pan-Orthodox Conference in Novi Sad

The Orthodox Diocese of Backa in Novi Sad from September 24-27, 2012 the host of great and important Inter-Orthodox Conference - the fifth meeting of the Inter-Orthodox Network of Initiatives for Research of Religions and Destructive Cults.

Upon the invitiation of His Grae Bishop Irinej of Backa, more than hundred theologists, professors, priests, psychologists, criminologists, politicologist and experts from Cyprus, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Syria, Georgia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Romania, besides those from Serbia will deal with the theme of the conference Guruism in Destructive cults and elsewhere: personal-spiritual-social problems and their solution. In Novi Sad many eminents bishops will show up including the head of the Church of Czech Lands and Slovakia, His Beatitude Archbishop Christopher of Czech Lands and Slovakia, Archbishop Irinej of Crete, Metropolitan Christopher of Karpasia from the Cypriotic Orthodox Church and many bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church.  His All-Holliness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartolomew, other Orthodox Patriarchs and Heads of Local Orthodox Churches, as well as His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch will send ther messages to the members of the Conference.

Bishop Konstantine in Wupperthal

On the occasion of the church slava, the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, His Grace Bishop Konstantine of Middle Europe served the Divine Liturgy in Wupperthal. His Grace was concelebrated by local priests. After the Holy Liturgy the slava cake was cut and the slava wheat was consecrated.

With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch His Grace Bishop Andrej of Remesiana served the last Saturday, on September 22, 2012 on the feast day of Saint Joachim and Anna, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church devoted to these saints in Kaludjerica.
