Bishop Maxim of Western America in Prizren
8. October 2012 - 13:18HIs Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America came to Kosovo and Metohija yesterday. Bishop Maxim served the Holy Liturgy in Prizren Cathedral church, at which pupils of the Seminary of Sts. Cyrill and Methodius chanted along with their professors. After the Holy Liturgy, Bishop Maxim along with the Diocesan Bishop Teodosije visited the Seminary where he was informed about its life and work. Bishop Maxim gave a financial contribution for the Seminary, a donation of the believers of his Diocese.

October 2012 - 9:39Karadjordje's poplar, the symbol of freedom and unity of one small nation which stood up before the eyes of all Europe to fight against one mighty and strong enemy, and today it is again the meeting place of all Serbs. In the church of Holy Great Martyr George at Oplenac in the presence of the royal family Karadjordjevic, lots of faithful people, the Holy Hiearchal Liturgy was served and the requiem for Prince Paul, Princess Olga and Prince Nikola. With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadija, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by Bishop Pahomije of Vranje and he was concelebrated by Bishop Irinej of Australia-New Zealand with many priests.

October 2012 - 9:44His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, accompanied by Their Graces Bishops Jovan of Sumadia and Andrej of Remesiana, protopresbyter-staurophor Milutin Timotijevic, rector of the Prizren Seminary of Sts. Cyrill and Methodius in Nis, and deacon Aleksandar Sekulic, went on Friday, October 5, 2012 on the first visit to the Patriarchate of Alexandria after the election and coming to the throne of the Serbian Patriarchs.

5. October 2012 - 15:47His Grace Bishop Irinej of the Metropolitanate of Australia and New Zealand led today, on October 5, 2012 the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Belgrade's Cathedral church.
After the Liturgy, Bishop Irinej served the requiem to Prince Paul, Princess Olga and Prince Nikola s Karadjordjevic. The Bishop was concelebrated by Their Graces Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno and the priests of Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac. с
The remains of Prince Paul, Princess Olga and Prince Nikola Karadjordjevic will be displayed in the church until 17. In the afternoon hours they will be transferred to Oplenac.
Historical injustice solved
5. October 2012 - 11:49The remains of Their Royal Highnesses Prince Paul and Princess Olga, and their son Prince Nicholas with full state and church honors yesterday arrived in the homeland and are displayed at Belgrade's Cathedral church.
His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch led the memorial service, with the concelebration of Their Graces Bishops Lukijan of Budim, Jovan of Sumadija, Irinej of Australia-New Zealand, Atanasije of Hvosno and Porfirije of Jegar, at the Cathedral church fulfilled with the highest state officials, members of the royal family Karadjordjevic and faithful people from all Serbian areas.
The memorial service was attended by President of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Tomislav Nikolic, President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Ivica Dacic, President of the National Assembly Mr. Nebojsa Stefanovic, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar and Princess Katherine Karadjordjevic;Prince Aleksandar and Princess Barbara, Princess Elizabeth and Catherine Oxenberg;Prince Michael, Duke of Kent; Her Imperial and Royal Highness Arch Duchess Helen von Habsburg, Princess Linda and her sons Princes Djordje and Michael; Prince Vladimir and Princess Brigitta, Prince Paul's In-Laws: Neil and Serena Balfour, Christopher Balfour, Jean Marie and Veronika de Brouwer; as well as members of the Government, diplomatic corps and other officials.
