Serbian Patriarch Irinej receives members of Royal family of Karadjordjevic

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received yesterday on September 18, 2012 in the Serbian Patriarchate His Royal Highness Crown Prince Aleksandar II Karadjordjevic and many members of the Royal family of Karadjordjevic. The reception was attended by Their Graces Bishop Vasilije of Srem and Jovan of Sumadija; chief secretary of the Holy Synod of Bishops protopresbyter-staurophor Savo Jovic as well as Mr. Dragomir Acovic, member of the Crown Council.

Serbian Patriarch Irinej meets with friends of Serbian people from France

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch received yesterday, on September 18, 2012 in the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade proven friends of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija - Dr Patrick Stephen Barri, colonel Jacques Hogard, writer Pierre Péan, as well as Mr. Krstomir Pantic, president of the Municipality of Kosovska Mitrovica, and professor Vukosava Djurdjevac-Grujic. The meeting was attended by an associate of colonel Ogar Mr. Teophan Lemen and Mr. Meriadek Refre, journalist.

Phoenix Parish welcomes new parish priest

His Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America officiated at the Divine Liturgy at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday, September 16, 2012. A welcome banquet was prepared in honor of the newly appointed priest of the Phoenix parish, V. Rev. Dragomir Tuba.

Bishop Atanasije serves in Saint Demetrius church in New Belgrade

With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno served with the priesthood of the Archbishopric of Belgrade-Karlovac, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of Saint Great Martyr Demetrius in New Belgrade.

Metropolitan Jovan in Sisak

On the feast day of Saint Joanikije, the first Serbian Patriarch, on September 16, 2012 Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb-Ljubljana served the Divine Liturgy in the church of Saint Petka in Sisak.

The Metropolitan was served by protopresbyter-staurophors Petaj Olujic, Dusko Spasojevic, presbyters Dalibor Petkovic, Veselin Ristic parish priest and deacon Branimir Jokic.

2012 Diocesan Days held in Alhambra, California

The 2012 Diocesan Days of the Western American Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church were held  from Friday 31, August 2012 until Sunday, September 2, 2012 at St. Steven Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Alhambra, California. Besides the host Bishop Maxim, his guests Bishop Ignjatije of Branicevo, Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and Bishop Longin of New Gracanica-Midwestern America served and  participated at seminars as guest speakers.
