Patriarch of Serbia Kyr Irinej visited the Western American Diocese

With great joy the faithful of the Western American Diocese, God-loving clergy, venerable monastics and our neighbors welcomed His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Kyr Irinej in Phoenix, Arizona. His Holiness during his visit on the Feast  Day of the Entry of the Theotokos Into the Temple on Sunday, December 4^th, 2011, served the Divine Hierarchical Liturgy at St. Sava Church. He also visited the Greek Orthodox monastery of St. Anthony the Great (Florence, AZ) and the Serbian monastery of St. Paisius (Safford, AZ).

Moleben for peace in Kosovo and Metohija in churches and monasteries of the Diocese of Raska-Prizren

             With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren                 yesterday at 12 in many churches and monasteries of the Diocese of  Raska-Prizren moleben was served for the peace in Kosovo and Metohija.

Devic - Moleben in the Devic monastery was served by presbyter Savo Smigic, secretary of the Diocese of Raska-Prizren. 

Metropolitan Amfilohije on the feast day of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple served in Caracas

His Eminence Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral kyr Amfilohije, within his visit to the Diocese of Buenos Aires and South-Central-American, as its first Bishop-administrator served on Sunday, December 4, on the feast day of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos in the church of St. George in the capital city of Venezuela - Caracas.

First World War and the Balkan knot

His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno attended yesterday an opening of the International Scientific Conference dedicated to political relations on the Balkans and Europe before the First World War. The theme of the conference was The First World War and the Balkan knot - the Balkans before the First World War.

Activities of Bishop of Krusevac

His Grace Bishop David of Krusevac reminded that on December 28, 2011 visited the parish of Dedin, and tomorrow the parish in Mackovac and Globoder. On the feast day of Matthew Bishop served the requiem for protopresbyter-staurophor Zdravko Vukcevi of blessed repose from Pocekovina. 

Celebration of the feast day of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple in Vienna

On the feast day of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple on  Sunday, December 4, 2011 His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa, the administrator of the Diocese of Austria-Switzerland served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Vienna's church of the Resurrection of Christ, with the concelebration of local priests.
