Church School Graduation

Certificates of Achievement were presented in church after liturgy to our students who participated in the Sunday religious program and the Serbian language program.

116 students are registered to the Sunday religious program in English language, 64 students in the Sunday religious program in Serbian language and 93 students registered in the Serbian language program.

Whit Tuesday in Belgrade

His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy on Whit Tuesday in the church of Synaxis of All Serbian Saints in Karaburma.

Patron Saint's Day of Old Milos's church in Kragujevac

On the Second day of the Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples the Patron Saint's Day of the Old Milos's Church was celebrated in Kragujevac. 

Patron Saint's Day in Mostar

The feast day of Pentecost (The Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples ), which is the Patron Saint's Day of our Cathedral church which is being renovated,  was solemnly celebrated in Mostar. The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by Bishop Grigorije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and the Littoral with the concelebration of nine priests and four deacons from our Diocese and our dear guests from Belgrade and Novi Sad.

800 years of Serbian medicine

  In the mansion of St. Prohor Pčinjski Monastery, on June 9, 2011 the Scientific meeting entitled "800 YEARS OF SERBIAN MEDICINE" was opened, organized by the Section for history of medicine of the Serbian Medical Society, the oldest medical association in our country. The aim of this meeting was to encourage a creation of the Institute for the history of medicine.
