21. December 2010 - 14:09On St. Nicholas Day, the Archbishop of Myra the Wonder-worker, Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb and Ljubljana served the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral church of the Tranfiguration of Our Lord in Zagreb.
Eight centuries old bell
13. December 2010 - 13:23The bell of eight tons, dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the monastery of Mileseva, will be casted by May next year in the Russian foundry in Yaroslavl. This was agreed on Friday during a visit of the Russian ambassador Alexander Konuzin in Serbia and the owner of the bell factory Nikolai Shuvalov and conversation with Bishop Filaret of Milesevo in the Foundation of the Nemanjics.

22. November 2010 - 10:48Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren says that intentions of monk Artemije about creating of some so-called "true church" are not real and after all this there are no chance of the schism in the Church.
In the Diocese of Raska and Prizren it is assessed that the attempt of the Bishop Artemije, who was disfrocked, and a group of monks to seize monasteries on the north of Kosovo and Metohija was an unique and unprecedented event in the history of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The RTS crew was in the monastery of Duboki Potok, from where Artemije and his followers were escorted to Kraljevo.

The second regular meeting of the Holy Assembly of Bishops was held between November 17-20, 2010 at the Patriarchate in Belgrade under the presidency of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej. All diocesan bishops took part in the work of the Assembly, with the exception of the head of the autonomous Archbishopric of Ohrid, His Beatitude Jovan and Bishop Konstantin of Central Europe.
