To the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Serbia Jean Francois Terral

Your Excellency,

We deeply regret the violence committed against Your citizen Brice Taton that happened in our city and which led to the death of this young man. On behalf of His Holiness Patriarch Pavle of Serbia and in my name and on behalf of all the fullness of the Serbian Church, I express most sincere condolences to a Brice's family, his friends, the French citizens and all those who knew him. We pray to our Lord Jesus Christ, to inspire and multiply goodwill among people and to direct the hearts of all of us to the persistent fight against any evil.

The continual representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church His Grace Bishop Irinej of Australia and New Zealand and protopresbyter-staurophor Professor Dr. Vladan Perishic, vice dean of the Faculty of the Orthodox Theology of the Belgrade University, upon the invitation of the Secretary General of the World Council of Churches, Rev. Samuel Kobia, participated in the session of the central committee of this organization which was held from August 26 until September 2, 2009 in Genève.

The official representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church upon the invitation of the World Council of Churches participate at the session of the central body of this organization, which is being held from August 26 until September 2, 2009 at the seat of the World Council of Churches in Genève. The representatives which had been chosen, upon the suggestion of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the SOC, at the Assembly of the WCC in Porto Alegre, Brazil 2006, are His Grace Bishop Irinej of Australia and New Zealand, the member of the committee for Public Issues, and protopresbyter-staurophor professor Dr Vladan Perishic, the vice dean of the Faculty of the Orthodox Theology of the University of Belgrade, the member of the committee for nominations.

Communique of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral

The Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral neither is the founder of non-government organization "Matica Srba Crne Gore" nor Metropolitan had blessed "the decision to hold the founding Assembly" as it was presented in media. Founding cultural and national organizations, as it is well known, neither belongs to a jurisdiction of the Metropolitanate nor Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral.
