The feat-day of the Entry of Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem - Palm Sunday was marked in this Herzegovinian town Mostar by celebration of the Divine liturgy presided over by Bishop Grigorije of Zaholm and Herzegovina.

The Hierarch was concelebrated by protopresbyter-stavrophor Radivoje Krulj, presbyter Nemanja Luketa, deacon Branislav Rajković in attendance of many faithful people of Mostar and its surrounding. During the Eucharistic gathering Zorica Roncevic was received into of the Mostar community of the saints of the One, Holy, Catholic and Orthodox Church. The solemnity continued in the church-yard and the premises of the Old church in Mostar.

An assembly of male monasticism from the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral was held in the Cetinje monastery on 29 March 2017.

The assembly began with the Divine Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts officiated by Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral Amfilohije. Besides the monks, the Liturgy was attended by students of the Seminary of St. Peter of Cetinje.

With the blessing of His Grace Irinej, Bishop of Eastern America, St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church in Akron, Ohio hosted the Cleveland Deanery for the Liturgy of Presanctified Gifts.  

Despite treacherous weather conditions including snow, wind, and hail, faithful from all over the Deanery gathered for Presanctified Liturgy on Friday, March 17th.  Concelebrating were the Very Rev. Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Djordje Mileusenic and the Rev. Presbyter Aleksa Pavichevich.  The beauty of the service was magnified as many children joined in the singing of the responses, and so many faithful from the St. Archangel Michael community in Akron, Ohio prepared for and received Holy Communion.

His Beatitude Jovan, Archbishop of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje, celebrated the Holy hierarchal Liturgy in the stauropegial monastery of St. Joh Chrysostom in Bitola, Macedonia, on the Sunday of Orthodoxy, the 5th of March 2017.

At the very end of the Liturgy, in attendance of the celebrating clergy who carried holy relics and the faithful with icons of the feast-days dedicated to the Lord, Mother of God and Church saints in their hands, the Archbishop read the Synodicon of Orthodoxy.

On the Sunday of Orthodoxy, the 5th of March 2017, His Grace Bishop Irenej of Bachka celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral church of Novi Sad, with the concelebration of the Cathedral brotherhood.

In his arhchpastoral sermon Bishop Irinej said, among other thing: “Every Sunday is a feast-day as a memory of the Christ’s  Resurrection. However, today we have an extra celebration - celebration of an event, and not only of an event, but of an essential message of our faith…” After the pre-ambo prayer a rite of procession with holy icons was celebrated.

In the evening of the feast day of Saint Sava, His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren attended the Saint Sava Academy in Novi Pazar during which a rich cultural and art program was held with folklore dances.
