Bishop Irinej visits dioceses in Croatia and BiH
21. March 2013 - 15:48Zagreb - On Wednesday, 16 March 2013, Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb-Ljubljana met with Bishop Irinej of Backa. Metropolitan Jovan informed Bishop Irinej with the condition of our Church and the faithful on the territory of the Metropolitanate of Zagreb-Ljubljana. On this occasion Bishop Irinej of Backa handed over a pateritsa to the Metropolitan.

March 2013 - 15:45For the last nine years, every 17 March, the Academy of the Serbian Orthodox Church for arts and conservation from Belgrade has been organizing a prayerful and artistic remembrance of the 2004 pogrom of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohia. Also this year, MSc Goran Janicijevic, Associate Professor on subject Fresco Painting, prepared the student’s exhibition, which is hosted at the Saint Sava Memorial Cathedral.
New Head of the Roman Catholic Church enthroned
20. March 2013 - 14:05The newly elected head of the Roman Catholic Church, His Holiness Pope Francis (lat. Franciscus, ital. Francesco), was enthroned at the Saint Peter's Cathedral.
The solemn ceremony of the enthronement, on behalf of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, was attended by the high delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church led by His Eminence Amfilohije, Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral.

19. March 2013 - 16:01His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received Mr. Vuk Jeremic, President of the General Assembly of the United Nations, on 18 March 2013 at Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade.
The same day, the Serbian Patriarch hosted an audience for guests from the Patriarchate of Antioch – His Eminence Metropolitan Basil of Arcadia and His Grace Bishop Elijah of Marmarida.

18. March 2013 - 15:06His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received on 15 March 2013 Their Graces Bishops Pahomije of Vranje, Joakim of Polog and Marko of Bregalnica.
The same day His Holiness hosted an audience for members of the Russian Motorcycle Club Night wolves, who were led by Dr. Aleksander Zaldastanov, the president of this greatest motorcycle club in the world.
Crime without Punishment

March 2013 - 12:49His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, attended today at the National Theatre an academy entitled The Crime without Punishment on the occasion of the anniversary of the March pogrom on Kosovo and Metohia organized by the Office of the Government of Serbia for Kosovo and Metohia. Serbian Patriarch and Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic addressed the audience.
