Prayerful Remembrance of Patriarch Pavle

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch with the concelebration of Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral; Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, Vicar of the Serbian Patriarch; and Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren, served today on November 15 2012, the Divine Liturgy at Rakovica monastery. The President of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Tomislav Nikolic, and many believers were present at the memorial service on the occasion of the third anniversary of the repose of Serbian Patriarch Pavle. Bishop Lavrentije of Sabac concelebrated at the service.
Exhibition at Saint Sava Cathedral on Vracar

His Eminence Amfilohije, Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, the president of the Committee for completion of the construction and interior decoration of the Memorial Cathedral of Saint Sava on Vracar, opened last night, on 14 November 2012, at the crypt of the Saint Sava Cathedral an exhibition of the works of the students of the Academy of the Serbian Orthodox Church for Fine Arts and Conservation from Belgrade and thirty painters, iconographers and painting workshops. The exhibition is opened until 21 November.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received yesterday, on 14 November 2012, at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade Mrs. Verica Kalanovic, Minister of Regional Development and Local Self-Government, and Mr. Mileta Radojevic, the Director of the Office for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

On 23rd Sunday after Pentecost, on feast day of Venerable Father Abramius the Recluse and Holy Martyr Anastasia the Roman His Grace Andrej, Bishop of Remesiana, Vicar of Serbian Patriarch, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church of Saint Sava in London. Following the Holy Liturgy, Bishop Andrej addressed the faithful and conveyed greetings and prayers of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch.

On the feast day of Holy King Milutin the endower's Patron Saint's day of the monastery of Banjska near Zvecan was solemnly celebrated. His Grace Bishop Jovan of Nis served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy. Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren and Vicar Bishop Jovan of Lipljan concelebrated.
Bishop Maxim and Professor Yannaras visit Eugene Parish

His Grace Bishop Maxim visited the parish of St. John the Wonderworker Serbian Orthodox Church in Eugene, Oregon on Sunday, November 11th, bringing Professor Christos Yannaras with him during his archpastoral visit. This was Professor Yannaras’s first visit to Eugene, Oregon, and the faithful were treated to a contemplative talk and insightful question and answer session following the Hierarchical Liturgy and banquet.
