Meeting of Patriarch of Serbia and head of the Belgrade Podvorye of the Moscow Patriarchate

His Holiness Patriarch Irenej of Serbia received today at the court of the Patriarchate of Serbia protopresbyter Vitaly Tarasjev, the head of the Podvorja of the Moscow Patriarchate in Belgrade. On this occasion, father Vitaly handed an invitation to His Holiness Here to serve the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy on the occasion of the first anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Kyrril of Moscow and all Russia.

Thanksgiving served at Hilandar Monastery on the occasion of enthronement of the new Patriarch of Serbia

On Sunday January 24, 2010 at the Holy monastery of Hilandar on Mount Athos in Greece , the assembly of the Hilandar monks and deacons, led by deputy heugomen of Hilandar hieromonk Metodije, served the special thanksgiving on the occasion of the election and the enthronement of the new Patriarch of Serbia. During the Divine Liturgy  and the thanksgiving service for the first time at the ancient Hilandar church was prayerfully recited the name of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia.

His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia served on the feast of St. Theodosius the Great and Venerable Michael, on January 24, 2010, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the church of the Ascension of Our Lord in Belgrade.

Patriarch Irinej served with the concelebration of His Eminence Metropolitan  Christopher of Chicago and Libertville, head of the temple presbyter Arsenije Arsenijevic, portopresbyter-staurophors Milan Radovanovic, Milosav Radojevic and Radic Radicevic, protopresbyter Jovo Planojevic, presbyters Predrag Timotijevic and Vladimir Stanimirovic, protodeacons Tomislav Milanovic, Stevan Rapajic and Nenad Mihailovic, as well as deacons Jovan Milenkovic and Stefan Cincarevic.

Enthronement of Patriarch Irinej of Serbia

The act of the enthronement of the newly elected Holy Archbishop of Pec, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovac and Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, was performed today, on Saturday January 23, 2010, at the end of the conciliar holy hierarchal Liturgy at the Cathedral  church in Belgrade. The Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia with the concelebration of his brothers Bishops, priests and deacons, and also the representatives of Russian and Greek Church.

Enthronement of newly elected Patriarch Irinej of Serbia on Saturday at Cathedral church

The act of enthronement of the newly elected Holy Archbishop of Pec, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovac and Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, will be conducted at the end of the conciliar Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Cathedral church in Belgrade tomorrow, on Saturday, January 23, 2010The Holy Liturgy is commencing at 9:00 am.
