Visit to Patriarch Pavle of Serbia

Today on a holiday of Deposition of the Mantle of the Mother of God,  His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of  Montenegro and the Littoral served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Patriarchate chapel in Belgrade.

After the Holy Liturgy, Metropolitan together with Archbishop Jovan of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje, visited and administered the sacrament to His Holiness Patriarch Pavle of Serbia at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade.

Patriarch Pavle of Serbia celebrated the Feast Day of the Resurrection of Our Lord

His Holiness Patriarch Pavle of Serbia celebrated in joy one of the greatest feast days, Resurrection of Our Lord, at the Military Medical Academy along with His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral, His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno and guests.

After having blessed all the present, and especially children, His Holiness wished them to celebrate a holiday of Resurrection of Christ in health and spiritual pleasure. By sending prayers to the Lord for entire progress of the Serbian people. Patriarch Pavle of Serbia greeted them with joyous Christian salute: Christ is Risen! Truly, He is Risen!

Head of the Russian Orthodox Church extends his congratulations to Patriarch Pavle on Patron saint`s day

His Holiness Patriarch Kyrill of Moscow and All Russia in an epistle to Archbishop Pavle of Pec , Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovac and Patriarch of Serbia extended his congratulations on Patron Saint`s Day - Lazarus Saturday.

With sincere brotherly sentiments I express warmest congratulations on Patron Saint`s Day. I pray continually to God for sustaining bodily and psychological strength of Your Holiness, on this day of victory of resurrection and life and I want You joy in Our Lord Jesus Christ and His unlimited help to You and the whole God-loving Serbian church.

Celebration of Lazarus Saturday at the MMA in Belgrade

His Eminence Archbishop Amfilohije of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral has served today on the holiday of Lazarus Saturday Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at a new-established side chapel at the MMA in Belgrade which is dedicated to St. Luke Archbishop of Simferopol and Crimea, the saint, surgeon, painter and hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church of the 20^th century. His Holiness Patriarch Pavle of Serbia also took part in the liturgy, who celebrated by praying his family patron saint.

Archbishop Marko of Berlin and Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno visit Patriarch Pavle at the MMA

Archbishop Marko of Berlin and All Germany, accompanied by His Grace Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, the vicar of Patriarch, visited today His Holiness Patriarch Pavle of Serbia at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade.

In a cordial and warm conversation, Archbishop Marko thanked Patriarch Pavle for care and prayers to God Almighty for the unification of the Russian Orthodox Church. 

Patriarch Pavle of Serbia thanks for Christmass greetings

His Holiness Patriarch Pavle of Serbia exchanged Christmas greetings with all primates of autocephalous and autonomous Orthodox Churches, many archbishops, metropolitans and bishops.

Patriarch Pavle of Serbia received lots of greetings from the higher and secondary education institutions of the Serbian Orthodox Church, directions of the monasteries and many faithful, not only from our country but also from abroad.

Since Patriarch has no possibility to thank everyone , he does it in this way, with best wishes for welfare of all the faithful of the Serbian Orthodox Church, sending them his paternal salutation and patriarchal blessing.
