Protopresbyter Bratislav together with his parishioners presented to His Grace Kirilo a check in amount of five thousand dollars as a gift in support of his missionary work in South America.

On the Lord’s Day, the day of Resurrection, the Sunday of the Prodigal Son on February 4, 2018, the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at St. George parish was celebrated by His Grace Bishop Maxim of the Western American diocese and concelebrated by His Grace Bishop Kirilo of Dioclea, administrator of the Buenos Aires and South Central America diocese with local priests, Protopresbyter-stavrofor Velimir Petakovic, retired parish priest, Protopresbyter Bratislav Krsic, parish priest, and deacon Paul Germain.

Status of Milan Lakic in the Serbian Orthodox Church

We inform herewith the faithful of the Serbian Orthodox Church that Milan Lakic, a former parishioner of the Church of Saint Thomas the Apostle in Johannesburg, South Africa, has no right to partake in the Holy Communion and to participate in liturgical and Church life of the Serbian Orthodox Church, according to the decision of the Serbian Patriarch Irinej, AEM no. 1185, issued on 23 September 2016

On 4 February 2018, when our Holy Church celebrates St. Timothy the Apostle and Martyr Anastasius, His Grace Bishop Ignjatije of Pozarevac-Branicevo officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of Saint George in Budapest with the concelebration of Bishop Sergije of Bihac-Petrovac and the competent Bishop of Budim and the Administrator Lukijan of Timisoara.

The Bishops were also concelebrated by local priests of the church. Bishop Sergije of Bihac-Petrovac delivered a sermon.
