Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in Aleksinac

His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren, Administrator of the Diocese of Nis, celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the church of the Transfer of the relics of Holy father Nikolaj in Aleksinac on 8 July 2017.

Feast day in Divostan Monastery

On Sunday, 2 July 2017, when the Holy Church celebrated Holy Apostle Jude and Saint John of Shanghai, His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadia served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at Divostan monastery.

The Bishop was concelebrated by protopresbyter-stavrophor PhD Zoran Kostic, protonamesnik Srdjan Tesic and protodeacon Ivan Gasic.

The Feast of Sain Fevronija in Beska Monastery

Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral served the Holy Liturgy at Beska Monastery on the Skadar Lake on the feast day of Holy Martyr Fevronia, 8 July 2017. After the service at Beska Monastery, a meeting of the members of the Committee for celebration of 600 years of the Kom monastery, which will be held in August of this year.

Nativity of Saint John the Baptist at church of Saint John the Forerunner at Zanjice

Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral Amfilohije celebrated the Holy Liturgy at the church of Nativity of Saint John the Forerunner at Zanjice on 7 July 2017, on the feast of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist.

Metropolitan Amfilohije held a sermon related to the importance of this feast after which he blessed the slava cake and led the feast's procession.

The Life of St Mardarije of Libertyville and all America

In light of the one hundredth anniversary of the arrival to North America of Saint Mardarije of Libertyville, and his unselfish and energetic preaching of the Word of God on this continent, the Orthodox Christian publisher Orthodox Lighthouse has prepared a narrative of his life intended for the Orthodox youth of America.

The book The Life of Saint Mardarije of Libertyville and all America is offered with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Irinej of Eastern America. Bishop Irinej was extraordinarily joyous when he heard that a book about Saint Mardarije was in preparation. The Serbian text was written by Deacon Jovan Anicic with English translation by Father Aleksa Micich and editions by Bishop Irinej of Eastern America.  Illustrations were the creation of Angeliki Delecha.  This gifted illustrator from Greece succeeded with her array of colors and great precision to fully depict the life of our Saint Mardarije. The book is available in the Serbian and English languages.

First Belgrade Choral Society in Himmelsthür

With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, and under the patronage of His Grace Bishop Sergije of Frankfurt and All Germany, the solemn concert of the First Belgrade Choral Society was held in the monastery of the Dormition of The Most Holy Mother of God in Himmelsthür.
