On the morning of Great & Holy Saturday, April 11th, 2015, the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was held in commemoration of burial of Christ and His descent into Hades. His Grace Bishop Maxim concelebrated the Divine Liturgy with the Diocesan Deacon Zoran Aleksic and Rev. Norman Kosanovich. The choral responses were sung by the Cathedral Cantors led by V. Rev. Nicholas Ceko, the Cathedral Dean. The faithful who were present prayerfully participated in the Blessed Sabbath Service.

On Great & Holy Friday, April 10th, 2015, His Grace Bishop Maxim, together with the clergy and faithful of Saint Steven's Cathedral solemly commemorated the sufferings of Christ, the mockergy, the crown of thorns, the scourging, the nails, and thirst, the vinegar and fall, the cry of the desolation, and all the Savior edured on the Cross.

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej officiated the Paschal Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Saint Sava Memorial Cathedral on Vracar in Belgrade at midnight.

The Paschal service was attended by President of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Tomislav Nikolic. Thousands of believers came to the Cathedral to welcome the Holy Fire, which this year, with the blessing of Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem and Serbian Patriarch Irinej was transferred from the holy city of Jerusalem to the Serbian capital.

The schedule of the following events regarding the Holy Fire:

·        welcome ceremony of the Holy Fire on 11 April 2015 at 7:30 PM at the Belgrade airport Nikola Tesla, where the press conference will be held,

·        the solemn welcome at the Saint Sava Cathedral in the Vracar District on 11 April 2015 at 11:00 PM, as well as the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy officiated by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej in Saint Sava Memorial Cathedral at midnight on 11 April 2015.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served today, on 7 April 2015, on the feast day of the Annunciation, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Cathedral church of HolyArchangel  Michael in Belgrade.

The Patriarch was concelebrated by the clergy of the Cathedral church. Patriarch Irinej congratulated the feast-day to the congregation.
