Saint Peter's Day in Bijelo Polje
19. July 2012 - 9:04The feast of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, the slava of the church in Bijelo Polje was celebrated on Thursday, July 12, with the liturgical gathering which was led by His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic and with the solemn procession of the faithful which in memory of Apostles and Saints of God went throught streets of Bijelo Polje.
British diplomats visit Serbian Patriarch

July 2012 - 9:50His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch yesterday, on July 17, 2012 at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade received Mr. Owen Jennings, chief of the Western Balkan and EU Enlargement Department in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and His Excellency Michael Devenport, Ambassador of Great Britain in Serbia. The reception was attended by His Grace Bishop Andrej of Remesiana, vicar of the Serbian Patriarch.
St. Peter's Day Fest at Black River monastery
18. July 2012 - 8:52The tradiitonal St. Peter's Day Fest also this year was organized at the Black River (Crna Reka) monastery. Gathered around the reliquary of Saint Peter of Korise, around two hundred believers from all parts of Serbia prayerfully attended the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy which was led by Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren with the concelebration of seven priests.
Saint Peter's Day in the monastery of Ribnica
17. July 2012 - 10:07Bishop Milutin of Valjevo served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy on the feast of St. Peter in the monastery of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Ribnica near Mionica. The head of the Ribnica monastery, abbot Nikodim (Bogosavljevic), archimandrite Danilo (Jokic), protodeacon Pribislav Simic (retired professor of the Faculty of Theology in Belgrade) and the priesthood of the Episcopal Deanery of Kolubara concelebrated.
Celebration of the feast day of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Bujanovac
17. July 2012 - 9:58The feast of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul was solemnly celebrated in the Diocese of Vranje. In all churches Divine Liturgies were served, and especially festive was in churches and monasteries devoted to these saints. The most festive was in Bujanovac at the church devoted to these saints, as well as at the monastery of Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Dubnica (it is the monastery from the 15th century).
100th anniversary of the church of Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostles in Milici
17. July 2012 - 9:52His Grace Bishop Gerasim of Gornji Karlovac served on the feast of St. Peter, July 12, 2012 the Divine Liturgy in the church of Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostles in the village of Milici in Bela Krajina (Slovenija). On this occasion the 100th anniversary of this church was marked.
