Exhibition NOT TO FORGET for the seventh time

With the blessing of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, the seventh traditional exhibition of copies of icons and frescoes from Kosovo and Metohija was opened last night, on March 17, 2011 at the St. Sava's house of the St. Sava Memorial Cathedral on Vracar. This year the copies of the frescoes of Mother of God Ljeviska in Prizren, but also other monasteries from Kosovo and Metohija are showcased. 

Bishop Maxim arrives in Australia

His Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America arrived yesterday in Sydney as a special guest. Bishop Maxim came to the fifth continent as a special guest of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Australia and New Zealand, actually as the lecturer at the forthcoming seminar of the Serbian priesthood in Sydney. 

Immediately upon arrival His Grace Bishop Maxim visited Sydney's Lazarica at which are the headquarters of the Diocese of Australia and New Zealand. The distinguished guest was welcomed by officers of the diocesan office and the brotherhood of Lazarica. The head of the church, protopresbyter-staurophor Miodrag Peric, served the doxology and the welcoming speech was held by His Grace Bishop Irinej. 

Theodor's Saturday in the church of St. Luke on Kosutnjak

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served on the Theodor's Saturday the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the church of St. Luke on Kosutnjak.

Invotation for the former students of Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Belgrade

Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Belgrade wishes to establish firm contact and cooperation with all its graduated students. His Holiness Irinej Serbian Patriarch received yesterday in Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade His Excellency Mr. Luis de Almeida, Ambassador of Portugal.

St. Simeon ceremony in Podgorica

His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic served on Saturday, March 5th, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy which was led by His Eminence Metropolitan Nikolaj of Dabro-Bosna in the Cathedral church of Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica.
